Several different Marvel Legends Sub-mariner figures used. Heads (from original Toy Biz figure); Green trunks body + top torso on Savage version (both from current Namor figure); Black legs (from Walgreen's exclusive Namor). This is my take on adjusting the Subby figures more to my liking. I always felt that Toy Biz simply nailed his head perfectly (so much better than the current versions) and I was determined to use it. By the same measure, the modern Hasbro bodies are superior to the old Toy Biz versions. So I wanted the best of both worlds. However, the skin tone of the heads and bodies differed. After some color mixing and damp paint rubbing, I found the flesh tones to better match the heads. This made the head swaps look more consistent with the bodies. For the Savage suited version, I stripped the blue deco off the legs attached it to the the bare chested torso (I had to glue together an amalgam of the 2 different central waist pegs to keep the articulation), re-sized the interior fit of jacket and repainted his large belt.
