While I like the color-scheme of Jim Lee's Cyclops design, the uselessness of the vertical strap on his left side has always sort of bugged me. So, I opted to make something that was reminiscent of that design, while also being its own thing. Hasbro Marvel Legends Hawkeye serves as the main body, while the hands and boots came from Hasbro's AOU Captain America. The head is from a Toy Biz X2 Cyclops figure, and the belt, shoulder-straps, and cuff-straps came from Hasbro's X-Men "trainee" Deadpool. The chest and abdomen was sanded down a bit to tone down the muscles somewhat, and I had to dremel away the neck of the Cyclops head, and then dremel in a hole for the ball-joint on the Hawkeye body. The paints are my usual combo of Testors Model-Master, Tamiya, Vallejo, and Citadel/GW acrylics. The X-men insignia on the chest is from a selection of water-slide decals I acquired from Ebay. Comments are welcome, and I hope you like him! ![]() |
