Boba Fett (Star Wars) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:991
Name:Boba Fett
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Star Wars
Creator:VariablePenguin
Date Added:August 26, 2006
Base Figure:Marvel Legends Bullseye
Height:6.00 inches
This is my newest masterpiece. I have spent more time on this figure that on any others, combined possibly. I completely scuplted every last detail from the armor, to the helmet, to the blaster and thermal detonator, to the clothes, to the jetpack, including real metal darts and studs in certain areas.

I then went back and added battle damage to the different "metal" parts with my Dremel. I painted the base colors, such as the grey jumpsuit and shoes, the green armor, the colors on the helmet and the jetpack. I then when back over the jumpsuit and shoes with a black wash. I went over the battle damage on the armor with yellow then with silver. I did the same with his helmet and jet pack.

I finally added Wookie scalps made from string, a blaster rifle made from a Punisher machine gun cut up and scuplted alot, a rope belt made from string, foamies and sculpted buckles, and a pouched belt made from Bullseyes's holster belt and cast pouches from his waitbelt, I also added a cape made from the same fabric I used from Grifter's coat and cut it, burned it, wet it and and stained it.

Boba Fett is finally represented in full poseability! No joints were sacrificed to build this figure.

Nah not Fett, just another Mandalorian soldier whos color scheme oddly looks closer to Jango's then Boba's, maybe he'll be more of a Mando assassin... I started out making him a while back but it turned into one of those finish on a rainy day projects. I just kept adding little bits and such until I am where I am today with only the gauntlets left to do. Like Doc said, I'm lazy to
Real pain was the neck, looking back over it today it looked funny so I had to sand lots down but I got the peg back on and it looks pretty good. So far he and another I'm working on are looking like the best I've done so far so ill by sending in a few waves of customs some time
VP, have you read the TPB "Jango Fett: Open Seasons"? Its a really good book on the Mando's and Jango, lots of action.

Yeah I know. Just look at how long it took me to make Zealot or Boba Fett's cockpit.

"variant"
Are you doing Fett or just some other person in Mandalorian armour? And seriously, what's taking so long? I did mine in the span of the Movies Contest and was busy with school and work.

Helmet went well, I used the new Star Wars Transformers line and the Boba Fett head fits perfectly so I repainted it to match my armor variant. My gun is an altered GI Joe knock off type. As for the pack I'm not sure if ill make one yet.

Tip for the gauntlets: do them in layers. Like the right gauntlet had about four layers and the left had three I think.
How's your helmet going? and your jetpack? and gun?

Any tips on the gauntlets?
I recently made the neck part of the suit and I can see I'm gonna need to do a lot of sanding....
*Hoozah almost done though*

GREAT JOB - BOBA FETT IS THE BEST IN ALL OF S.W.
I THINK ALL FIGURES SHOULD GO TO THE ARTICULATION OF THE MARVEL LINE
I'm MEAN COME ON - IT IS THE DAY OF MOVEMENT NOT OUR DADS GI JOE WITH MAYBE 6-10 MOVEMENTS IF THAT
BOBA ROCKS KEEP UP THE S.W. LINE GOING

I sorry Doc. That sounded more surly that I meant it to. I used the RTOJ color scheme on his costume so the jetpack had to be that colorful. But if you look, I did scar it up real good too.

Well good! I didn't make the pack for a Dr. Nightmare figure. It's for Boba Fett.

The pack is a little too colorful for me
This is one of the only Star Wars characters I liked and only because his suit was green

Here's a little comic I made showing how the jetpack attaches (with some picture of it off and close up)
This is also a preview of what his word bubble will look like in the comics to come.

I made his stand out of thin wood, apxie sculpt, and mini dowels.

(or I'll send Fett after you so you can explain to him why you didn't vote)
