Present at the funeral of Padme, the newest elected Queen harboured Jedi who escaped from Order 66 and to make matters worse refused imperial rule sending emissaries back to the Enpire in various forms of dismemberment. The 501st Legion were dispatched, captured the capital Theed and assassinated the Queen as well as her Jedi escort. This assassination gave notoriety to the Stormtroopers involved earning them the name Vader’s fist.

Hey Realmers been a while but I’ve been busy and will continue to be. Several projects have been put on hold as I haven’t has the time to get into them pushing them to the summer, but for now I was feeling nostalgic and have been making Star Wars customs so here is Queen Apailana. She’s featured in Battlefront 2 the original game and I really liked her design. It’s possible the 3D model takes pieces from their in game Leia just adding the colour changes and a few details. I took a nightsister figure, Padme pilot from AOTC, Queen Amidala POTJ and Padme from the movie heroes line and combined them into this figure alone with miliput and a repaint. I like the idea of the royal robes made more practicable like Sabe (padmes decoy) at the end of TPM, but this design hasn’t been done before and can be displayed with original trilogy figures because of her story. I just think it’s a cool design.

Pretty much to make this I took the legs from the pillow Padme and put the skirt from the Movie Hero’s padme over, and attached to the night sisters hips. Then I shortened the lower arms and moved the swivel joint up so I could have her wrists hang out, which were made from Movie hero’s Padmes sleeves carved and sculpted over to get wrists. Next I used heat to pop off the Potj head off and carefully removed the upper robe detail and then the neck joint below. I cut away the nighsisters pauldrons I guess as I can’t think of what to call the upper outreaching shoulder parts and added the neck from Potj Queen to it, and then placed the head on after removing the head dress, cutting off the long hair piece and adding the tied hair from the hero’s Padme and cut into two to elongate the tie. Then glued back into the head so the fit was better and assembled the pieces. I also sculpted sleeve details of fur, painted the robe as Hasbro factories did a bad job on the gold details and gave her a Han Solo holster and the aotc blaster from pilot Padme. I used citadel paints achieving a nice red for her skirt and sleeves and painted her forearms and hands white. Added some gold buckle detailing instead of silver she is a Queen after all. And repainted her hair and headdress. I kept the waist band as it was because of her dress in ROTS having one it felt like a continuation.

Naturally had fun taking some shots with stormtroopers in hot pursuit. Thanks for having a look!
