After seeing Warhawk in the Batman Beyond cartoon I wondered where he got the idea for his suit's design. He most likely saw Hawkgirl in Thanagarian battle armor, and fashioned his own after it, so I made her in the suit she might have worn. I didn't want to call her Hawkgirl though since she definately is not a girl. I could call her Hawkwoman but Iron Raven sounds so much more threatening.

-Most of the armor is bits and pieces borrowed from Boromir's and Omega Red's armor. The three tubes on each wrist can fire an array of different projectiles. Ranging from basic concussion grenades and nets to more advanced immolation pods and armageddon rockets, the weapons are designed mainly to control mobs of enemies when one-on-one combat is impossible. Additional ammunition is kept on her belt, which is adorned with the image of a black hawk in a field of red.

-The mace was made with Iolaus's spiked ball, Skullsplitter's longsword's handle, and a thin leather strap to loop it on a belt-hook. The wings are from a Total Justice Hawkman. Best of all, they are already shaded. I managed to make them poseable! It involved some pliers, a wire, and a screw and the hair covers the contraption perfectly. I'm also going to make some metal wings for her, like Warhawk's.

-The hair is from some elf from LOTR. It was black so I drybrushed it with red and it turned out fabulous. The mask I had to sculpt entirely with Sculpey. I was going to make the standard "hawk-hair" but what the hell, I can always do that later. I gave her more of a Rocketeer-style helmet. I left her eyes un-covered so I made silver-foil covers for her eyes but they didn't show up well in the pictures. I just made them white with photoshop but when I get some good lighting I'll take another face-shot so you can see how cool the eyes look.

Thanks, WW. It's always good to hear from the female members about female customs because all the guys will always say she's awesome even if she was missing a leg and had an orange mohawk :P
Here are the two pictures that seem to be missing from the first post:
People love wings because flying is something they can't do. Seeing large beautiful wings on a person triggers some primal urge to fly, but since we can't, we can only watch in wonder

Wow, what a beautiful pair of wings! Hmmm, is it just me or do angel wings make everyone hot?! LOL. Must be me, who knew I would invent the weird wing fetish! Nice job Dr. Nightmare, she looks great. I like her mask/face as well...

Some notes I should add...
-The left hand is from a spare Storm figure. I like how it's open because it makes her look cool when she swings the mace
-The tips of the wrist-rockets are red.
-All the articulation was saved!
-Here's the mace.
-And here's the hair. I can still move her head around but not much to the sides.
