Straight up repaint of a McFarlane Halo 3 Mark VI figure. Used a mixture to get this Cyan Metallic type shade. Used Gold Metallic for the shoulder pads and head stripe. Used Black Metallic for black joint areas. I repainted everything on this figure except the gold visor. There is no trace of the original paint anywhere. I feel dirty if I leave a hidden area unpainted. As always once I add a first seal I go and add a wash. I then go around adding small details to the figures as usual. It is all about the small details I think. I even repaint all the joints with Metallic black so it has a rubber oiled up look to it. I even paint the bottom of the feet! There is just to many things I do to each repaint to list. I will be adding more photos as I get them done. I am in the process of moving my room around. I just added extra photos. Sorry some are not as crisp as the others. ![]() |
