Hello! Another in my series of Film Figures: Grammaton Cleric John Preston as played by Christian Bale in EQUILIBRIUM.

A very good, very underrated movie, imho.

Was able to get ahold of a Neca American Psycho figure for the head, repainted it, and used misc parts for the body. the tunic is made from a Neca Officer K figure's coat and a Batman cape. The base is hand painted to look like marble with the Equilibrium insignia on it. This one was much more challenging than I had anticipated and I learned a lot from the process of making it.

Finally a Grammaton Cleric gets an action figure! Great job Raboogie! This is one of the coolest action movies because of the unique style of the gun fighting. The story reminds me a lot of Fahrenheit 451 but with better action. Awesome figure from an awesome movie.

Thank you very much! Yes, very Fahrenheit 451 inspired! I'm surprised more films haven't borrow more heavily from the gun-kata in this movie. Not taking it whole cloth, of course, but incorporating the "out of bullets, hit them with the gun" aspect.

Thanks! Yeah the AP figure is really hard to find at a non-outrageous price. Luckily I was able to track one down that was loose and therefore reasonable. The sculpt on it is kinda weird-- it was sort of bumpy in the face, so I had to sand it down a bit once I made a cast of it.
