I've been working on a lot lately but mainly ventured into Star Wars customs a lot following my Dark Trooper post which now has updated photo's. This has made something I was working on get delayed further and further but anyway; here is my Chancellor Palpatine Vintage Collection style. I always liked the design of this red robe he wears and its featured in both versions of the Clone Wars series. There are 2 versions of this particular costume and both are lacking in articulation and there in lies its issue. So using both these figures, a Darth Sidious and the other grey costume from the Invisible Hand rescue I made this version: RotS Palpatine head torso hollowed out, waist and legs,Rots duel with Mace Sidious head, Death Star Trooper feet drilled into legs, Bilbo 6" scale figure arms and arm joint inserted in body then the elbow joints included and shortened, RotS Darth sidious attack figures robe and chest robe and wrists which were drilled into and had VC Darth Sidious' hands and wrists inserted there for the rotating wrists. Lastly original VC Royal Guard dress robe for skirt with slave Leia black series VC skirt sewn and attached for the sepperate inner robe. Also darth mauls belt was used underneath and Miliput under the hanging robe. It's hard to explain but thats essentially it and a repaint. I redid the eyes on Chancellor and Repainted the eyes, teeth, eye sockets and gave the head a red wash for the Lightening damaged face giving it a just transformed 'too weak' look.
