The first wave of the attack isn't going as well as planned ! The G.I. Joe force isn't giving any ground, in fact they are advancing. The call is placed for air-support. There is a delay in the response .... the ground troops close to the Tele-viper's speakers lean in to hear H.Q.'s answer... then faintly at first, but steadily growing louder. Flight of the Valkyries by Richard Wagner can be heard playing and then the explosions ring out as they unlease a barage of rockets. The copters have come at last !!!!

As a kid it always bothered me that the F.A.N.G. didn't have a designated pilot figure. Antman with paladin's head ( sculpted mask and repaint )

The copter was a old broken toy converted to a larger scale. Sculpted cockpit and front portion, as well as engine. Drinking straws as roll cage ( around engine ). Ball turret in the nose cone is a super-ball and a blaster cannon fodder gun barrel housed in blister packaging plastic (from gummie burgers )
landing skies an struts are wire, air hose ( as is the joystick controller in the cockpit ) and popsicle sticks.
Hand made bomb ( on the undercarriage)
