I started out wanting to use a DC Direct figure as a base but decided to go a different route. I like his new look and though I took a few creative libs I feel it's a pretty good likeness.Thankfully my client gave me free reign on design. The most fun I had was with the hair. I really wanted to sculpt the hair as opposed to using another figs mop. This is the second time I've sculpted hair. The hardest part was the cape. I started with a cloth cape with gold accents but, even though it's an iconic look of the character, I felt it didn't go well the figure. So el solution was an Hourman cape, with some Epoxy discs to finish it off. The head was a prety easy choice luckily I had about nine Longshots lying around.Stupid KB and their amazing deals. The stand was from the craft store with vinyl scrap for the lightning bolt.Slap on some Epoxy and paints and SHAZAM! I had a blast making this one and overall I'm diggin it.Lemme know what ya think.
