I’ve said before that Chekov is one of my least favorite Star Trek characters, but again, in Star Trek Beyond, they use him so well: teaming him up with Captain Kirk as they try to reconnect with the Enterprise crew on Altamid, and retrieve the “macguffin” that Krall has been after since he attacked their ship. Chekov joins Kirk in an identical “away survival suit” as they enter the crashed saucer section of their vessel during an intense action sequence. Figure was a kitbash with many sculpted elements and was completed in late 2016.
