Instead of the usual mech suit with a bazillion guns, Patraw went with his interpretation of an armored-up Swamp Thing from an old video game, based on an animated TV show, based on the DC character, based on a creature the creator saw after eating one too many bear-steaks.

You know it's a brutal competition when someone like Patraw, who scratch-builds all his amazing creations with tissue, glue and spit only gets like 20th place!

Bonus Fact: That 1990 animated Swamp Thing show was written by Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, the same guys who created Kim Possible, so I'll definitely be checking it out to see the caliber of material they were making then.
