There's nothing like a chaotic mess of a scene to bring a toy collection together. Building dioramas is a rare but much respected skill in this hobby, mainly because it's so damn time consuming and detail oriented. No matter how messy the scene will be, planning ahead before you start chopping up styrofoam blocks is essential for a speedy workflow. Measuring doors, brick widths, container scales, how deep should concrete pits and wood grain be, these all affect the overall realism of a miniaturized scene. And then you have to find a way to make the scene durable! Can't have those pesky Power Rangers punching invading aliens through the walls by accident, this stuff is expensive! And you thought paint-rub in joints was bad. I asked how he makes these foam displays durable but haven't gotten a response, it'll continue to be a mystery for now. Check MrZombie's Facebook or Ebay listings for more impressive angles of his work and contact him to build the diorama of your dreams (and nightmares). I've always wanted to have something like this. ![]() ApexpredatorGT - Sunday, November 15, 2015 That's so cool! Write a new Comment Custom on eBay Previous / Next Figure Inque |
