This week I'll be steering your eyeballs towards customs with lots of sculpting, like TeknoKyo's Genji Shimada. I get goosebumps any time I see an excellent custom figure and don't recognize any of the parts used (or the character, or the fabric used for the backdrop, or even the clear stand lol). After viewing the nearly 90,000 submissions to the Showcase, I'm still impressed by all the stuff that comes crashing in through the skylights. TK entirely sculpted over a Microman figure, which is like a 3.75in. blank for talented people to splatter all their creative juices on. That's a flattering thing to say, right? Sure! It's tough to keep symmetry intact when working over an entire figure, but clearly TK TKO'd that...tricky...knocker...listen, it's way too early to be writing these things! Every plastic ninja appreciates a set of scratch built weapons, this guy carries his sword half-exposed just to scare the pants off everyone...and also because the sheath broke lol. Thankfully, customizers are a crafty bunch so TK turned the snapped sheath into an even more functional one. Check out the WIP pics he posted in the Forum (yeah, we have a forum, go use it!): http://www.figurerealm.com/topic?topicid=9573 Figure Inque by Henchmen4Hire on December 14, 2016 User Comments Custom on eBay Previous / Next Figure Inque
