Ol' Shaggy here was begging for a sweet sideways head-slasher to headbutt those filthy Tarks into submission, or more likely, a crushing death.

Focusing on the forearm for a sec, notice how adding those little rivets and bending the edges to add rigidity transforms a bland piece of plastic into a realistic plate of defense.

A useful tip we get from Staley is to slightly embed items into the figure when gluing them on, especially small things like the two claws. Gluing something to the surface almost guarantees you're going to accidentally snap it off, but embedding it a millimeter or two gives it a solid bite.

That sweet ass chainmail makes a recurring role here, Staley says it's called "Techno-look fake leather." Unfortunately, I can't find any reference to it online, so maybe it's only found in some countries, but I'll keep searching because it looks fantastic.

Notice how Staley snipped away bits of the edges to give it a ragged look, like some of the links have fallen off.
