Sadly the console RPG is all about dead thanks to FPS games being incorporated. I agree the PC and handhelds are where the old school RPGs and turn based ones are.
If you're into D&D then PC is your best bet, honestly. There are several AD&D games for the PC, such as Baldur's Gate I and II, Icewind Dale I and II, Torment and Neverwinter Nights. Arcanum is also great and made in a similar style, though it isn't actually an AD&D game. They're older games, but they're still pretty awesome.
I don't think any of the current generation of consoles really offer that kind of game play. I remember there being some Baldur's Gate run on Ps2, but never looked into it. Fable I and II, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Arkham City/Asylum(more action and detective-y, but still has some RPG elements, kinda) are really great modern RPGs that are multi-platform (including PC) that may strike your interest if you want something newer.
The Super nintendo had a ton of them if you're into retro. The genesis had a few good ones including some strategy/RPG and a Shadowrun game. Xbox and 360 don't have much old school style. Sadly turn based RPGs are a dying thing in the US other than some on the PC.
Did anyone catch the newer screenshots/character reveals? I'm so giddy that Cable is in, and Death is so important to Deadpool's lore that they would have been stupid not to include her. Perhaps she factors into the gameplay somehow? Maybe when you die you get an Arkham Asylum-like cutscene but instead of being taunted by a villain, Death resurrects you.
If there was a JLA or Super Friends movie, who would be on the cast? I'm thinking Chris Pines as Flash. List of characters: flash, Martian manhunter, Captain marvel, atom, wonder woman, aqua man, robin, a new superman, and others!!!!...[See More]
I think the guy who played Blake in DKR should be batman I think (any young blond) should be flash I think Henry cavill as superman Aqua man should be Chris pine Green arrow should be Ben foster
Danielle I am so sorry to hear about that. you have always been a huge inspiration in my work and can't wait for you to get back on your feet. I am disabled so do not have a lot of money, but when I can I will try my hardest. also if there is anything I can or the realm can help with, please do not hesitate. you are a pillar and crucial part of this commnity, so we will help. I also second therapist's comment, hope you find someone who is deserving of you, you truly deserve it.
I am so sorry to hear bout that. I have never had the pleasure to talk to you or anything like that but I truly am sorry your goin through a rough patch and although I cannot help financially at this time (I got 12 little ones of my own) but I will keep you in my thoughts in prayers.
I will also say this. Stuff happens in life and sadly not all relationships work out for whatever reason. However I feel a man has a duty and his kids come f^&%^$ing first so even if the worst comes to the worst then It is my job as a man to make sure my kids have a roof over there head. Period. This Ben fellow is a punka.ssbi.tch no way you and your little ones should ever EVER have to sleep in "random places" I don't care what id have to do.
Here I am discuss about Reality TV shows....I m big fan of Reality TV shows... Because these are related to human life...Survivor and X-Factor shows are mine most favorite....Share with me your comments about reality shows.......[See More]
HERE HERE!!! The truth of the matter is that reality tv is completely contrived scenarios featuring over dramatic charicatures of people that want nothing more than to be on television. That's not reality, it's just a self propagating cycle in which production companies do not have to pay talented, diciplined actors. That's just me though.....
I'm the complete opposite. I think reality shows are the beginning of the end of good television. You want to relate to human life? Stop watching tv and go out into the world and watch/interact with real people....or at the very least, good window with a view and a pair of binoculars.
In the Amazing Spider-Man, Peter decides to see Gwen Stacy even after the dieing Captain Stacy told him not to. Wouldn't Capt. Stacy be angry at Peter for disobeying his orders. Well that got me thinking, over the years of being Spidey, Peter would visit Madam Web. But then one day, Madam Web gives Peter false advise which leads him to getting killed. And then Pete will finally realize that it wasn't Madam Web he's been visiting! ...[See More]
Does any body, anybody at all know who that strange man was that said " did yu tell the boy about his fawtha?????? was???? I'm guessing it was maybe Norman Osbourn or Mysterio since he just disappeared....[See More]
I've heard it could be electro, since there was a shock of lighting when he entered and left. Also, im pretty sure he was talking about the venom project (like in ultimate Spiderman), the cure for cancer that Richard parker and Eddie brocks father were creating( although for the purpose of the movie, it could have been curt Connors who was working with Richard parker) hence why the shadowed man came to curt Connors. Although, I suspect it could have to do with something much deeper about his father as the shadowed man asked specifically about his father. Curt also told the man to leave peter alone, maybe suggesting it also has to do with peter, like maybe something genetic. Another theory is that Richard injected peter with something as a boy (his research was all on spiders) which let him ...
