So I've been on a tangent all this month about Megaman. I'm not sure what caused it, but the little fanboy in me from my childhood started thinking about how much I missed the games. I dug around and kept digging until I found what few Megaman games I own; Megaman Legends 1 and 2, Megaman X, and the original bad box art NES cartridge of Megaman 1. I think I have a few GBA games here and there as well. I've started replaying the Legends titles and was actually kind of surprised... for games there are literally over 10 years old each they hold up. The first one doesn't hold up near as well as part 2, but they both are still charming and well animated with likable characters. I don't think any of the current generation of consoles really offer that kind of game play. I remember there being some Baldur's Gate run on Ps2, but never looked into it. Fable I and II, Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Arkham City/Asylum(more action and detective-y, but still has some RPG elements, kinda) are really great modern RPGs that are multi-platform (including PC) that may strike your interest if you want something newer.
